Due to the steady COVID-19 cases in the area and new notice of the COVID-19 variant in the community, all Tribal Offices will remain closed Monday March 29, 2021 to Friday April 2, 2021; Administrative Leave will be granted during this time. Please take personal responsibility to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by continuing to practice CDC safety measures and keeping family safe at home during this critical time.
Although Tribal Offices remain closed, there should be no interruption with program services; Program Managers must implement work remote capabilities and schedules previously set-up. Exceptions to the directive will only be for duties considered business critical and cannot be completed outside of the workplace; Program Managers are required to report to work each day and to alternate employee work schedules to ensure the safety of all staff who must report to the workplace during the closure.
Reminder, employees who choose to travel out of the area anytime during this time forfeits their Administrative Leave. The only exception to the travel restriction will be to visit area essential businesses, such as, health care facilities, grocery stores, gas stations, and/or banks; please ensure you and your family wear facemasks when in public.
The closure will be reassessed by Friday April 2, 2021; the Executive Committee will continue to monitor the COVID-19 Pandemic in our community and will do what is necessary to keep the workplace, employees, and families safe.
