Please help the American Indian Cancer Foundation

My name is Chris Johnson (Sisseton Wahpeton Dakota) and I am the Prevention and Policy Manager at the American Indian Cancer Foundation (AICAF) where I lead several projects that increase cancer prevention efforts for our Indigenous communities.

Nearly two years ago, my older sister Autumn was diagnosed with cancer. She is thankfully recovering and in good spirits despite many challenges and hurdles. Throughout these past two years, I have witnessed Autumn persevere through so much all the while unapologetically living her life to the fullest. I am grateful to be employed by a Native organization with a mission that I am passionate about but has also supported my sister, my family, and many other Indigenous cancer survivors across Indian Country through difficult times.

As many of you know, AICAF's annual Powwow for Hope fundraiser event has shifted to virtual due to the COVID-19 Delta variant. Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated. With these funds, we will be able to continue to build on these efforts for Indigenous cancer survivors throughout Indian Country. Together we can end cancer in Indian Country. Wopida Tanka!

Making a donation is super easy! Simply visit my campaign page https://fundly.com/chris-johnson-10th-annual-powwow-for-hopeft_src=EmailPromoteDonate&ft_sid=35357581&ft_aid=911360&ft_uid=2976098 and click donate. Any amount makes a difference!

- Chris Johnson.
