All Tribal Member Elder Food Card Recipients September Distribution

Our office is happy to announce the Buche-Dakota Crossing food cards will be reloadable going forward. You will be getting a food card assigned to you and you will need to carry & protect the food card like a debit/credit card. You will need to contact my office if your card is lost and/or stolen after receiving the reloadable September card.

Our office will be distributing the food cards as follows: Busche-Dakota Crossing food cards will be available to pick up and use on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at the Tribal Administration Building in the Rotunda between the hours of 9am to 3pm. this date is subject to change due to delivery of the food cards. We will update this notice if the date has changed using Oyate News at oyatenews.com and KXSW Radio Station.

The rest of the food cards to be mailed out for September 2021, the process will continue until all cards are in the mail. This process can take up to 10 (ten) business days until the process is completed.

Your patience during the influx of changes for the food cards is appreciated. Human error is possible and not intentional. Expressing your anger at staff is not helpful. Minerva Keoke, Elderly Resource Coordinator, can always be reached at 605-698-3911 at extension 6633. Please provide self-addressed stamped envelopes if you prefer to have your food card delivered by regular postal mail with attention to my office.

I continue to encourage you to protect yourself by wearing a mask, wash your hands, social distance, and your willingness to help.
