Our guest speaker for October is Sharon Hesseltine. Sharon is in long term recovery from addiction and has over thirty years' experience in public health and family support services. Her presentation is a unique blend of lived and professional experience aimed at:

■ Reducing stigma associated with addiction.

■ Developing the capacity to better meet the needs of individuals with substance use disorders.

■ Enhancing knowledge about early childhood development, women' s health and addiction.
