Last updated 10/11/2021 at 9:34pm

Missions Statement: To restore the basic integrity and dignity of Dakota values of our SWO Tribal Members who pass through our doors by operating a homeless shelter and developing a plan to enable them to regain their social, physical, emotional, and spiritual values.

Monthly Activities:

We reopened the building on August 22, 2021. Since then we have had eight adults and three children. We currently have four family rooms and four single rooms vacant. We received great news that the shelter will be receiving 30-40 full size beds within the next week, which is very helpful as we are currently utilizing cots.

We have no trainings or events planned for the shelter clients as of right now. Starting in October we plan to bring back the healthy ways of living class once a month and financial literacy for all clients as part of their case plans.
