Dakota Sioux Casino & Hotel is seeking to fill the following employment position(s):

Marketing:

Player's Club Representative (1 Full-Time Days/Swing, Weekends)

General Function: Perform a variety of guest services functions to customers, including Player's Club.

Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. Must have computer experience and excellent computer Skills. Working knowledge of casino operations, including floor layout. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Repetitious computer work. Must obtain a Key Gaming license upon hire.

Porter:

Porter (2 Full-Time and/or Part-Time, Day/Swing/Grave)

General Function: Serves as janitorial/housekeeping staff for guests and casino operations.

Requirements: Physical mobility throughout the facility and surrounding grounds. Able to lift 40-50 lbs.

Must obtain a non-gaming license upon hire.

Lounge:

Server (1 Full-Time, Day/Swing/Weekends)

General Function: Acts as host/hostess for all lounge and casino guests.

Requirements: Basic math skills a must for money handling transactions and responsibilities. Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged

periods of time. Able to reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe. Able to carry up to 20 lbs on a continual basis. Able to left up to 50-65 lbs. Excellent communication. Good organization skills. Must complete Techniques of Alcohol Management Training (TAM).

Must obtain a non-gaming License upon hire.

Lounge:

Bartender (1 Full-Time, Day/Swing/Weekends)

General Function: To provide courteous and efficient beverage service to casino guests.

Requirements: Basic math skills a must for money handling transactions and responsibilities. Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time. Able to reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe. Able to carry up to 20 lbs on a continual basis. Able to left up to 50-65 lbs. Excellent communication. Good organization skills. Must complete Techniques of Alcohol Management Training (TAM). Perform basic reading and computer skills. Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping or tripping.

Must obtain a non-gaming License upon hire.

Table Games:

Black Jack Dealers (3 Full-Time and/or Part-Time)

General Function: Deal the assigned game in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures as

stated in the Dakota Sioux Casino Dealers Manual.

Requirements: Effective communication skills. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must demonstrate excellent attendance practices. Must obtain a Key Gaming license upon hire.

Hotel:

Maintenance (1 Full-Time, On Call on Weekends)

General Function: Performs plumbing work, including unstopping drains, fixing faucets, repairing leaks. Repairs damage such as broken locks, or replacing broken locks. Performs landscape maintenance and grounds work. Checks maintenance logs for repairs needed. Keep a daily log of maintenance assignments. Updates housekeeping when repairing a room and when finished repairing that room. Performs other duties as assigned. Should have knowledge and experience in heating and cooling systems.

Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Previous work experience in one or more areas required. Must obtain non-gaming license upon hire.

Accounting:

Count Team Member (1 Full-Time, Rotating schedule/Weekends/Holidays)

General Function: Responsible for inventory of Cage/Casino coin and chip assets. Assist in providing an accurate count for daily service drops. Work in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures as stated in the Dakota Sioux Casino Cage Employee Manual.

Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. Accounting background, the ability to work well with numbers, computer knowledge is required as well as willingness to be trained in these areas. Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), moving, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time.

Must obtain Key Gaming License upon hire.

Foods:

Deli Cook/Cashier (1 Day/Swing/Weekends/Holidays, Full-Time)

General Function: To prepare individual meals using grill, fryers, and broilers to customer requests.

Requirements: Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to lift at least 35 lbs. Cooking and safe food handling experience is required. Must obtain a non-gaming license upon hire.

These positions will remain open until filled.

Surveillance:

Observer/Agent (1 Full-Time, work all Shifts, Weekends, Holidays)

General Function: Responsible for monitoring table games, slot activity, casino cage transaction, hard and soft count procedures, as well as the safety and security of the property, guests, and employees.

Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. Must have computer experience. Create daily reports and logs. Working knowledge of casino operations, including floor layout. Must be able to sit for long periods of time in a cool environment. Ability to handle diverse situations and/or people. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Must obtain a Key Gaming license upon hire.

Facilities:

Facilities Manager (1 Full-Time Days/Swing, Weekends, Holidays)

General Function: Provide for the effective selection, installation, service, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical, electrical, electronic, refrigeration, and security equipment; provide for the optimum maintenance of facilities including building repair and modifications and oversee all construction projects.

Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. Trade school equivalent training in at least one of the facilities maintenance functions. At least five years' experience in the trades of: electrical, electronics, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, refrigeration, and restaurant equipment. Must have computer experience. Working knowledge of casino operations, including floor layout. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Able to read blueprints and schematics. Must obtain a Key Gaming license upon hire.

Human Resources:

HR Representative (1 Full-Time)

General Function: Under the direct supervision of the HR Manager, this position assists in recruitment, placement, and retention of new/ returning employees. Screens applications, schedules interview dates and times, helps conduct interviews, sends selection and non-selection letters. Assist with employee files, training's, orientation, on-boarding, and all employee activities.

Requirements: Two-year degree preferred. High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required. At least two years' experience in benefits and/or related clerical and administrative duties. Working knowledge of DNGE benefits, policies, and procedures. Have excellent customer service skills, reasonable tact, discretion, friendly and calm demeaner when dealing with personnel inside or outside the company. Computer experience (AS 400, Excel, Microsoft office systems, UKG). Have excellent time and attendance work record. Confidentiality oath. Must obtain a Non-Gaming License upon hire.

Security:

Dispatcher / Communication Officer (2 Full-Time, Day/Swing/Grave/Weekends)

General Function: Maintains and records incoming radio log. Maintains files, memorandums, and other duties as assigned. Monitors and records the clocking in and out of all employees and key log.

Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. Computer experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work irregular hours. No felony on record. Effective communication skills. Ability to handle diverse situations and/or people. Must be physically fit and able to lift 40 plus lbs. Must complete all security certifications within one year of hire in accordance with the gaming commission’s rules and regulations. Be dependable and punctual. Must obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire.
