Project Name: Dakota Connection Bingo Tire and Oil Shop

Project Description: The Dakota Connection Bingo & Casino, entity of Dakota Nation Gaming Enterprise (“DNGE”) is issuing this Request for Bids (“RFB”) to build an addition to the Tire and Oil shop that is 40’ x 40’ in size. Bids must specifically address every item as set forth in the specifications. Failure to directly address any item in the specifications may be grounds for rejection. The DNGE reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive any informality.
The Scope of Work and Bid Schedules for these projects may be found at the Dakota Connection Bingo & Maintenance office, Jeremiah Johnson.
All interested parties acknowledge that any Agreement executed and performed within the Tribe’s exclusive jurisdiction is subject to the Tribal Court of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate of the Lake Traverse Reservation.
All interested parties acknowledge that they must comply with the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Ordinances: TERO Chapter 59 Requirements, Business License Ordinance Chapter 53 and Tax Ordinance Chapter 67. A Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Business License must be obtained on notification of awarded bid before execution of contract.
Contractor Requirements to be submitted with sealed bids:
• Copy of Tribal Business License (if currently licensed)
• Copy of Liability Insurance
• Copy of Workmen’s Comp
• Copy of Construction Schedule for each Bid Schedule line item
• Completed and filled out Bid Schedule per line item and total construction cost
• 10% Bid Bond (10% of Amount of Contractor’s Bid)
• Performance Bond – if awarded contract the contractor shall be required to obtain for the full amount of the project and may have up to 2 weeks to submit the performance bond after award

Sealed bids must be submitted sealed and labeled with the appropriate project name and will be received by the Dakota Connection Bingo & Casino beginning on November 8th, 2021 and ending on November 22nd, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. Any bids received after this time and date will not be opened and sent back to the bidder. Acceptable sealed bids will be opened by Jeremiah Johnson, Maintenance Manager and Maurice Redday, General Manager, Dakota Connection Bingo & Casino on November 23rd 2021 at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Room.
