Funeral Service for Lana Liane Roberts, 35, of Waubay, South Dakota will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Enemy Swim Community Center, Enemy Swim, South Dakota with Fr. Conrad Ciesel and Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Music by Billy Kohl and Briar Roberts. Pallbearers will be Kirwin Roberts, Joaquin Roberts, Brady Roberts, Sonny Marquardt, Brandon Roberts, Eric Rockwood, Anthony Johnson, Todd Rockwood, and Iver Campbell Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ariana Marquardt, Cadence Greeley, Arica Roberts, Kristin Rockwood, Bri Fuentes, Brett & Katrina Rencountre. Interment will be in the Roberts Family Cemetery, Waubay, SD. There will be All-night Wake Services on Wednesday, October 10, 2021 and Thursday, October 11, 2021 starting at 7:00 P.M. at the Enemy Swim Community Center, Enemy Swim, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Lana was born to Keith Roberts and Lori Campbell on May 16, 1986 at Sisseton, SD. Growing up Lana spent her life sharing her love. She spent her young years with her Dad, Keith Roberts, and after his passing she spent some years with her mother, Lori Campbell, in the Waubay area. Into her high school years, Lana lived with her brothers and Aunty Gwen in Watertown. As a young girl Lana loved going on the powwow trail and dancing with her dad and brothers. Lana attended elementary school in Enemy swim, Waubay and Tiospa Zina. In middle and high school, she attended Waubay and Watertown school. Lana worked at the Webster A&W and the Casey's General Store. Lana was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church where she was baptized and confirmed. Lana had many great talents and a great personality that could make anyone smile. She loved to write poems and quotes. Her drawing ability was outstanding and very creative. She loved to doodle if not drawing. Lana's artistic talent was like no other. She also liked to make scrapbooks. She loved to listen to her music and watch her shows, Lana also loved to just chill with her friends and family. Her "giggle" would make anyone smile and laugh right along with her. Lana would greet everyone she met with their name followed by "man" (ex: Bro-Man, Sis-Man, Hey-Man). Lana was a very outgoing person. She was pleasant but at the same time she just went with the flow. When Lana wasn't chilling with friends she liked to country cruise or cruise the back roads and check out the scenery. Lana also spent every second she could with her son, Kirwin Shane. At home, Lana liked to cook, grill and bake. She loved to make cookies and brownies. Lana will be missed and loved by many people. She touched many hearts as a friend, sister and neighbor. Lana passed away on November 8, 2021 at her home in Waubay, SD.

Lana is survived by her mother Lori Campbell, Waubay, SD; her grandmother Ruth Campbell of Waubay, SD; one son Kirwin Shane Roberts, Waubay, SD; four brothers Brandon Roberts, Aberdeen, SD, Brady Roberts, Waubay, SD , Brighton Campbell, Brownville, OR. and Christopher Breske, Waubay, SD; three sisters Keisha Godfrey and Kayla Godfrey of Sisseton, SD and Sunshine Abraham, Fargo, ND; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lana was preceded in death by her father Keith Roberts; Maternal Grandfather Roger Campbell; Paternal Grandparents Emmett & Jerena Roberts; aunts Gail Roberts, Gwen Roberts, Melody Campbell, Jackie Birney and Kathy Campbell; uncles Kurt Bluedog and Iver Campbell Sr.
