Dave C. Keeble 53, of Milbank SD has left to be with the Lord March 14, 2022 at Avantara Nursing home where he has lived for the past couple of years. Before he entered there he lived with his daughter and granddaughters in Peever SD. He has put up a good fight with his End Stage Renal disease staying strong through it all. He had his hard days also but he kept on smiling, he loved his granddaughters dearly and was happy to be able to be around them. He was very proud of his daughter Therese.

He was born May 9, 1968 to Henry F. Keeble and Yvonne R. Hisgun in Sisseton SD the oldest sibling of 5. He grew up around the Sisseton Wahpeton Lake Traverse Reservation and spent most of his life in the area. He lived in the Enemy Swim area during his younger years. He talked about running around up there going to the lake, his younger sisters tagging along behind him. He went to Kickinghorse Job Corp in Montana where he earned his GED and Culinary Arts Certificate. He did love to cook and his frybread rounds were almost like his mama's.

He met Mary Jo Bruyere by accident passersby on the street and from there a friendship grew which turned into a life together. They were married March 5, 1993 at the Sisseton Courthouse with his Uncle Randy Hisgun and Aunt Sylvia Feather Hisgun as witnesses to this partnership. They made a home in Sisseton and to this union they were blessed with a daughter two years later.

He had various jobs during his lifetime he worked at turkey factory in Watertown SD and the Schiltz Foods processing in Sisseton SD. Also for the Dakota Magic Casino as a Barback where during that time he got to meet some of the famous that played at the conventions center. He also was a Porter there for a time. Facing the winter storms and the long drive. One time he called during a bad winter storm coming off of graveyard, I said just stay up there its really bad here. About a couple hrs. Later here he comes pulling in. I said what you doing driving through this stuff. He said when we got off we all were sitting in our cars warming them up.... pretty soon he said they saw Tyrone Keeble heading out so they all took off behind him. That made me laugh they had trust in him. He also worked at the Dakota Sioux Casino as a Porter for awhile.

If anyone knew Dave he was always listening to his music he loved it dearly, he also loved the wrestling shows especially the old Legends. He got to go to a concert to see some of his favorite bands, the Rock Never Stops Tour, with Cinderella, Quiet Riot, Firehouse and Ratt. He also had his drawings he loved to draw until his hands started getting stiff from the arithritis, even then he still tried.
